1. Data minimization

We only collect the minimum data needed to operate the service and protect our hardware from abuse:

• Account and profile data: Your email address, a hashed password (we do not store your password in plain text), your first and last name, a favorite Halloween color choice for display on your profile, and an avatar emoji you select.
• Interaction data: When you use features such as remote triggers or controls, we may log those interactions to prevent misuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain the safety of our systems.

2. No sale of data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with data brokers or third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Future media disclosure

We do not currently host a live video feed. If a camera is added in the future, it will be positioned to capture only the hardware on the owner's private property. No audio recording or facial recognition processing is performed.

4. Your rights (your privacy choices)

Under applicable 2026-era privacy statutes and similar laws, you may have the right to:

• Delete: Request permanent deletion of your account and associated email and profile data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Correct: Update your email address or profile information through your account where available, or contact us for help.
• Opt out: Withdraw consent for optional marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages, if you opted in.
